Exploration, Yosemite!

BLLR Teammates Sara and Christian hike up hundreds up switchbacks, past dramatic waterfalls, and up Yosemite Falls Trail!

According to lore (and nps.gov/yose) Camp 4 is listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its “nationally significant role in the development of rock climbing as a sport”.
The camp, which provided a base camp for climbers like Ron Kauk, Yvon Chouinard, Warren Harding, Jimmy Chin, is open all year on a first come first serve basis and costs five dollars per night.
